A controversial website named “DOGEQUEST” is making headlines for allegedly publishing the personal information of Tesla owners across the United States. The site features a searchable map claiming to reveal names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. DOGEQUEST states it will remove data upon verification of Tesla sale.
Beyond individual owners, the map purportedly includes the locations of Tesla dealerships, Tesla Superchargers and personal details of employees within the Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
While the accuracy of the data is still under scrutiny, 404 Media has confirmed that some individuals listed are indeed Tesla owners or connected to the company. Verification of dealership addresses also came back positive. However, some plotted locations did not align with their actual real-world counterparts.
Data Accuracy Concerns: The authenticity of all posted information remains uncertain, prompting caution.
This incident raises serious questions about data privacy and the potential risks associated with online activism. It’s important to verify any information found on DOGEQUEST before taking action.
