What are these “Liberation Day” Tariffs?
The Trump administration is implementing a 10% tariff on all foreign imports, coupled with “reciprocal” tariffs targeting specific countries. These include a staggering 34% tariff on China and up to 46% on Vietnam, a key manufacturing hub for the Switch 2. Cambodia, another Nintendo sourcing location, could face a 49% tariff, all effective starting April 5th.
