PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL – Tensions flared at a Tesla dealership over the weekend as a driver steered a vehicle into a group of protesters. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

The demonstration was part of a nationwide wave of protests targeting Tesla businesses, sparked by Elon Musk’s collaboration with the Trump administration. Protesters are decrying the cutting of federal funding and workforce reductions.

Incidents targeting Tesla properties have been on the rise, with reports of Cybertrucks set ablaze in Seattle and gunfire at an Oregon dealership.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Andrew Dutil drove his car onto the sidewalk where protesters were gathered. Demonstrators had to quickly evade the slow-moving vehicle to avoid being hit.

Dutil was arrested and is now facing assault charges, according to court records. At the time of this writing, legal representation for Dutil was not listed.
